The location proved acceptable. It provided reasonable access to nearby attractions.

The promised spa access was unavailable upon arrival. This significantly detracted from the experience i anticipated. the room's cleanliness was substandard. I observed mold in the shower, unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. the resolution offered by the staff felt inadequate, further diminishing the stay.

The breakfast selection was EXTENSIVE. I noticed fresh pastries and a wide assortment of cheeses. The location is GREAT. The zoo is just a short walk away. I found easy access to several subway stations too.

The room's ventilation was not good, and the air conditioning didn't work well. the wifi was quite slow. Premium wifi required an extra payment.

the location was decent enough (near the zoo) and breakfast offered some gluten-free options, which i appreciated.

The junior suite i booked was not up to par. The old fold-out couch had a noticeable sag. this made it uncomfortable for the third person, who woke up with significant back pain. plus, the carpets looked worn and dirty. the promised bed replacement never happened.

The spa had a super clean sauna and steamroom. Towels were plentiful. i noticed fruit and lemon water available at the fitness reception area. pasquali was wonderfully kind to my wife. He brought us an after dinner german liquor. the four days i spent here were effortless and VERY comfortable.

The burning hot water scolded me in the bathroom. I put the tap only half from middle to hot and burned myself badly. i had to run cold water on my foot. the management has not written to apologise nor compensated me.

Breakfast was excellent, with all the usual food-stuff you expect in a quality european hotel. i twice took dinner at the hotel's 'blend' restaurant. I enjoyed tremendous chicken and fillet mignon dishes. it was tasty.

Our fifth floor room overlooked the teirgarten. It was superbly appointed with all the conveniences. location IS great, close to public transportation, but quiet and close to the park. i found it accessible.

The hotel provides parking under the premises. I found this feature convenient. The breakfast buffet included many choices. The hotel allowed us to use the spa showers after the Berlin Half Marathon. I thought that was great.

The shower had mold. I did not expect this from a hotel in this category.
